Blackhawk Farms August 28th – 30th, 2026
River Valley Kart Club has been providing kart racers with the best racing facilities and race competitions for over 60 years, and we will continue to provide our services to our racing family for many years to come. Repaving our way into 2026 with our Blackhawk Farms race event scheduled for August 28th – 30th, 2026. RVKC will work in conjunction with AKRA regulations/rules. We are heading in the right direction to continue to bring a premier Road Racing event to the Midwest. With your help, RVKC can continue to make this possible. We would like to thank you for your time and consideration in joining us at this great event.
We are most excited about this great opportunity to race on the newly paved track. Reuniting two old friends – Like bringing the band back but all newly REPAVED. To make this event a success, we will need help from others. The track costs are significantly higher than in years past. Blackhawk Farms Raceway is a premier facility that has been recently repaved (the entire track) providing us with many amenities allowing all racing families to enjoy a weekend of fun and excitement. We need the support of sponsors, pre-entries and others to ensure our costs are covered.
We have signed the contract, placed our deposit on the track and the dates are solid.
AUGUST 28th – 30th, 2026 – PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDARS NOW!
We are finalizing the details of the schedule, personnel and all related factors in assuring we can provide a safe and fun event for all our racers. We will have Friday practice in groups and races on Saturday and Sunday. Final costs and class structures have not been finalized and will be done shortly. We anticipate that there will be a cost break to those for early entries vs. on track entries. For now, we are planning to race in the rain. However, we hope we don’t have a rainy weekend at the end of August. There are a lot of moving pieces in putting this all together, more than most believe. I want to thank those who are already helping all of us racers. We will have costs and a schedule put together in the coming weeks. We are blessed to have the opportunity to keep our “home” race track ours for this year and years to come, it is all up to us. This is a perfect weekend, we could not have asked for any better date. Please make this a weekend for family and friends to enjoy what we are blessed with and to hang out at a cool track and to RACE.
